Stencil Artwork On A GJ² Work Of Art

Guitars are carved works of art used to make musical art. So it’s only fitting that we invited our friend Josh Cardinali to use an unfinished GJ² Arete 5-Star guitar as his canvas. Josh is a Southern California-based guitarist and artist who came down to the GJ² shop during the summer to meet the team and test drive the new line of GJ² guitars with a few friends during an informal jam. (As informal as you can get with a camera watching!) Josh liked the guitars as much as we liked his playing and artwork, so we turned him loose to see what he could do.

Watch the video below to see the finished result, as presented by GJ² co-founder Jon Gold. Then watch the “making of” video that Josh put together so you can see the creative process in action. Also, be sure to check out Josh’s  Stoney Eye Studios website for more photos of his Arete artwork, as well as his musical work with Rian Basilio and the Roosters, The Divine Crime, and Doug Means Project.

This Arete 5-Star  is the first of a limited run and a work of art in every sense. To get your hands on one of these beauties contact the GJ² dealer near you.
